Just kidding, he actually isn’t! The latter is correct – his game stats are solely that of a half-orc, but with an elf da instead of the usual human.
The elf in him was purely so he could have them long ears :3 – otherwise I wanted him to be more orc than anything. I discussed racial stats with our DM @fluxfoxink , but we decided just to stick with the half-orc stuff and not swap any around (because I wanted him to be more orc-ey). Oh! I did have Elvish be his second known language instead of Orcish, for backstory reasons.
If you are thinking of doing something similar discuss with your DM and see what you guys can come up with! You can always change things later too if it’s not working out. Thanks for the ask!
