This was a dream costume come to life. Never did I think I’d convince a partner to do couples DBZ cosplay with me, let alone these two. Then again, we met because of a mutual interest in costuming.
I got my spouse into the series after he joined me in watching some DBZ Abridged about a year or so ago. I started him on Kai because he’s new to it, and he enjoyed it enough to joke about cosplaying Krillin. Not much later we heard about Arctic Comic-Con and I decided to do 18 after picking Mirai Trunks for one day.
The highlight of my day was when a tween-looking girl got big eyes at us and said, “Ohmygosh, you guys are relationship goals!” 😤💙
