“good intrusive thoughts” i know you all get your entire scientific education off random tumblr posts but please for the love of god read even just one psych paper. im begging

or even just take an english class. “intrusive” means you don’t want them. they’re unwelcome. they can NEVER be fun or quirky or funny because by definition they are unsettling, unwelcome, and INTRUSIVE. jesus fucking christ

Maybe there should be an alternate term for thoughts that randomly show up in your mind but they’re actually good??

Idk what they’d be called, but. Who knows.

theyre called thoughts

So @elastigale  aka Yamino does some super super super (no pun intended) cute Incredibles AU/Shippy stuff, which made me want to try my hand at drawing fan art of her delightful AU… which then made me remember why I don’t draw fan art. (I am NOT good at this shit)

I’d have polished it up more but every time I tried it looked worse.

It’s perfect!! 😭💕💕 Thank you so much!

Worst Case vs. Best Case Scenarios by Karina Farek.

This is a great joke, but it’s also a wonderful strategy for reducing anxiety that I learned about in therapy. If you’re ever nervous about something, just ask yourself: what’s the best thing that can happen? What’s the worst thing? What will most likely happen?

It does wonders for your nerves, really does.

My counsellor walks me through this all the time and it works??

always reblog, this is fucking activism folks

if you don’t have access to poorly-secured and un-backed-up debt records, you can help do this via legitimate means by donating to rollingjubilee.org – they buy debt (the way debt collectors do, for steeply discounted prices – like $20 to buy $500 in outstanding debt owed by someone) and just… forgive it, so it doesn’t need to be paid by the person on whom it’s a burden.
