Just because they’re our parents

Doesn’t make them right about everything

Doesn’t mean they can push us into their beliefs

Doesn’t mean they can twist us into their image

Doesn’t mean that they know who we are

Just because they are our parents doesn’t mean they know how to parent us right, or how to love us for who we are.
