Shock and relief, I imagine! Immediately followed by demands to make her new suit, because Edna assumes as soon as she recovers she’ll go back to hero work. (But Gail doesn’t want to, it takes some convincing.)
Gail ends up seeing Edna pretty frequently after her re-discovery by Helen. This is because as part of her reduced sentence, Evelyn is assigned “community service” and Winston is able to arrange it such that rather than stay in prison she can be under house arrest as a highly secure location (Edna’s house) and her community service is providing hypno-therapy to Gail to help her recover her memories/powers. I’m sure Edna hovers around a lot not only to supervise the therapy (can’t have Evelyn trying to mind-control Gail, after all) and probably throws in a lot of unsolicited commentary about how Evelyn should be doing things. Edna also likes to regale Gail with stories about supers and Gail’s own exploits as Stratogale in an effort to get her hyped about hero work again.
Neither Edna or Evelyn are thrilled with this arrangement to start, but Edna puts up with it for Gail’s sake (although she frequently complains about what a terrible houseguest Evelyn is and what a saint she is for allowing her to stay) and Evelyn hates Edna, hates her stupid ankle monitor, hates that Edna has ensured there’s no alcohol to be found anywhere, and hates that the house is full of machine guns in the ceiling which are trained on her constantly, but she doesn’t have much choice in the matter.
Eventually Evelyn learns to like Gail despite herself, it’s hard not to when Gail treats her like a friend (she doesn’t know about Evelyn’s real crimes/history) and Evelyn has needed one of those for a long time. It’s Evelyn who manages to convince her to become a hero again, when nobody else can, and by that point Evelyn and Edna have learned to get along enough to willingly collaborate on Gail’s new suit/tech.
