We all know the obvious foreshadowing from this episode that hinted Garnet’s fusion status and also hinted at the way Pink concealed herself as Rose but I was watching this morning and noticed something else cool.
When Ultimate Ringo eats the picture of Steven after turning it into an onion ring, it puts garnet in a frenzy of emotional distress, enabling her to unlock her full power in the story Steven tells. This caught my attention, especially because when she goes into her own ultimate power form she turns- you guessed it- PINK.
So my theory is that in the upcoming arc- White Diamond is going to do something to either one, some or all of the people Steven brought to homeworld with him. Garnet says “Steven will be fine”- hinting someone will most likely be hurt on homeworld. If White Diamond harms one of Stevens loved ones, my theory is it will force him into a place of emotional distress unlike any he’s dealt with before, and as we all know, his powers relate to his emotions. White diamond is going to force Steven to use his ultimate form coming up and I hope to see our little guy turn pink like his momma. Anywho that’s my theory for now.
