Since this prompt was an AU I decided Bonnie and Marcy were besties/baby girlfriends since like first grade, but when they hit middle school and Bonnie started taking significantly more advanced classes, they were never in the same classes anymore and Bonnie spent all her free time juicing her brain even more. Then they reconnected when Marcy played a gig at the college she was getting her PH.Ds at and they became roommates and grown up girlfriends and lived happily ever after because Bonnie’d finally figured out how to juggle her social life and studies.
