This… if you showed me this i would not be able to tell they were the same characters. 

IMO they all look exactly the same. even their faces are the same.

and that is why I have not yet seen past episode 6 of Tri. I just… every time I watch it I just find myself wishing it was the original Adventure. 😦

here’s the thing about character design: it doesn’t matter what style you’re working with, you just have to make your silhouettes strong. anime style tends to use very similar body/face structures to make animation easier, but you can STILL work with similar ‘base’ models as long as you dress them up in ways that are recognizable. I get that it’s more “realistic” or whatever for these kids to be in school uniforms or something but it completely leeches the life and energy that made the original Digimon Adventure character designs unique. so if your cast of characters are all in school uniforms that’s when you need to spend extra time giving them unique body types and/or extremely different facial features so you can give them recognizable silhouettes.

In my experience EVERY first kiss I’ve had was very awkward for different reasons… 😂

15, boyfriend, it happened so fast I barely felt it. But it was my First Kiss so it was kind of a Big Deal. 17, boyfriend, by far the most awkward kiss of my life like he completely missed my lips and his face was prickly… 😩💦

19, my gay awakening, I don’t know what the hell I was thinking – I wasn’t even OUT yet but I worked up my courage and gave her a tiny kiss and almost immediately felt guilty and terrified like oh nooooo I’m gay and I ruined everything but it all turned out okay and she became my first girlfriend! 😋

22, best friend/The One You All Know And Love, I made a comic about that one haha we were drunk and we hadn’t told each other how we felt yet …😅

So maybe first kisses are always awkward (especially if you’re inexperienced) but it gets sooo much better with practice~ 💋💕💕

Disclaimer, some folks don’t like the way kissing feels, and some folks just find it boring. That’s ok! You don’t have to pressure yourself to enjoy it if you don’t love it.
