After being “retired”, Gail doesn’t have access to her powers for a long time. Her flight and birdspeak are hypnotized away and I haven’t yet decided exactly how her strength is dampened (Kryptonite implant?? lol) but suffice to say she’s been living the past 19 years needing her prosthetics to get around.
The comic I drew with her floating while looking for her legs is set after she starts to recover her powers. And yes, I imagine she’s needing them so she can go outside and blend in with other people. :’D
Why does Gail need the prosthetic legs for if she can fly? Aside to maintain her secret identity, does flying for long periods tire her out?
