Everything Tadashi wanted to do was help people. He wanted to be a good brother, help his brother do more with life. He thought about what their parents would say or do. He didn’t want Aunt Cass to stress eat everything in the bakery. He literally gave his life to save one man.

The rest of the group’s inventions were cool and everything. But Tadashi and Baymax would make a difference. If Baymax could be mass produced, people wouldn’t need to go to the doctor for every minor injury and “Why do I feel like this?” questions. Baymax could treat them for anything minor, diagnose them, and recommend treatment. It would save so much on people’s medical bills and leave the emergency rooms for people in real emergencies. Baymax could possibly discover diseases before doctors would be able to detect it, before letting it advance too far.

Tadashi was a healthy young man. He didn’t have a personal need for Baymax. He didn’t want to keep Baymax to himself. I don’t even think he wanted the glory or money from it. He just wanted to help others.

Tadashi was the best brother ever and he deserved better.
