There are bigger implications here. EVERY Mewman is capable of learning magic, so why is it that only the Butterfly family is given the right to it. They’re not only repressing monsters, they’re repressing their own people (which is often the case with repression, hate on the browns and blacks but the poor whites just think they are better off). Star’s cousins have the cheek marks, Marco gained the cheek marks, Meteroa can suppress them and Festiva wasn’t born with them so I can’t wait for that to hit the fan!
